2012 Fundraiser: Amsterdam Marathon

Sarah Batten ran the Amsterdam Marathon for the MHMT on 21 October!

Sarah knew Mim as a neighbour and family friend. She said: "Running the marathon is a huge challenge for me (I'm terrified!). The Hyman family's commitment to creating positive outcomes from this tragedy is both impressive and inspiring, and I very much hope you will help me to support their efforts."

Sarah ran with her boyfriend, Toby, and they completed the course in just under five hours (photo taken at the finish line)!

Will YOU support the MHMT in 2013?

If you're up for something ambitious and exotic, you could choose from the global treks, bikes and climbs run by Charity Challenge, like Kate Green did when she walked the Great Wall of China for the MHMT in 2009

OR why not just do what Sam Rubinstein did in 2011 - he challenged himself to a 10 mile cycle ride (one mile for each year of his age!) and organised the whole thing himself, including a JustGiving page - with a little help from his mum and dad!

Visit our Donate page for more ideas - THANK YOU!

Money raised will go towards our current target of £50,000 to fund an MHCECC consultant to receive advanced training abroad for one year.

CONGRATULATIONS Sarah for completing this demanding challenge for the MHMT, despite your training being interrupted by the road accident in the summer! We really appreciate your tenacity.
