Tricycle Miriam Hyman Art Prize 2006

Tricycle Gallery
269 Kilburn High Road
London NW6 7JR

24 April to 06 May 2006

Miriam's art materials were donated to the Tricycle for use by the Young Artists Group. They had an exhibition of their work at the Gallery for three weeks over the end of April and early May. The first Miriam Hyman Art Prize, a gift of £50 to be spent on art materials, was awarded to Antoinette Noel for her exhibit and for showing particular promise and commitment.

The prize is to be awarded annually and reflects Miriam's passion for arts and crafts and the importance she attached to stimulating young people to use their creative abilities.

The quality of the work shown was very high. Congratulations and thanks to Kevina Khan, the Tricycle's artist in residence and Kitty Stirling who curated the exhibition.

Antoinette Noel with John and Mavis Hyman and Nick Kent, Director of the Tricycle
