Two 2010 MHMT Fundraisers!

Lucy Goldsmith cycled through Europe, raising awareness of the MHMT as well as sponsorship along the way.

Lucy says: "Miriam was my neighbour and friend, I have great memories of her from so early on in my childhood and the work that has been done by MHMT so far is inspirational. The motivation for something so positive to come from such a tragic event teaches so much and is the ultimate example of how effective and constuctive a peaceful response to a violent tragedy can be. Some day I'd like to try and cycle all the way to India to raise funds for MHMT but I think that may be a little way off... so perhaps this was a practise run but I am glad to have been able to contribute something through my cycling over the past two weeks!"

Urban Element designed the new MHMT website and named us as their Charity of the Year. In September their CEO, Jon Ellard, ran the Bristol Half Marathon and in October he and Lizzie Crossman ran the Cardiff Half Marathon, both on behalf of the MHMT.

Jon says: "In memory of a valuable life cut short, Miriam's family and friends have responded positively and are remembering her in the best way possible, by raising funds to help others."

Thank you Lucy, Jon, Lizzie and Urban Element for your support!
